It’s almost 3 and chairman’s polymagous chanticleer will crow in a few minutes. It’s still dark and cold outside.
I was finally going to bed then when iTunes played “Take a chance on me”, OST of MAMMA MIA. and yes, i felt the warmth. I remembered Santorini (MAMMA MIA and THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS). Clear blue waves, sugar cube houses, blue domed churches, the not-so-cool-not-so-warm breeze (yup, i felt the wind while watching the movie :D), the ARCHITECTURE, come on! and oh, the legendary sunset :)
I knew back then that this is the perfect place for my mid-April to May. Not to escape from anything or what (enough of those disheartening school works!), let’s just say a damsel in a pastel living.. Very light yet a little tangy, simple yet not too dull. And where a yellow flirty summer dress and a white southern belle tea hat are worth investing.
AND the CALDERA! geee :)
Who would have thought a massive volcanic eruption would form these awe-insipiring islands?
Oh Greece, you never fail to amaze me :)
